It's been a good long while since I've blogged about food. You know it, I know it. This of course doesn't mean that Old Cricky has given up on the love of cooking or eating, though you'd be forgiven for thinking that I'd gone on some brain-draining diet based on the sporadic timing of my posts over the past year or so. Ha! Self-deprecating humor is the BEST!
Anyhoo, today you're in for a real treat as I jump back on the foodstuffs wagon and draw your attention to one of the newest and most ground-breaking culinary shows to hit the Interwebs in, I dunno, a couple of months: The Katering Show.
Billed as "The journey of a food intolerant, and an intolerable foodie," The Katering Show is so enlightening and well produced it's sure to make the gazpacho of traditional television hipster shows--like PBS' Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking or even our own local Wisconsin Foodie--boil with envy.
Watch as hosts/writers/directors Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan kick off the series with unparalleled charm and aplomb--headphone use recommended in public spaces to fully appreciate their delicate language:
Now THAT'S a cooking show worth watching, eh? Yes, yes it is.
The Katering Show officially launched on Lead Balloon TV's YouTube channel only a few weeks ago, so now that ya know about it you can brag to your annoying self-described foodie friends that you're the real annoying self-described foodie friend 'cause you heard about it before they did. Take that, Giles or Jill or Mark or Megan!
